The Clothing Conference (12:23) Join David and the engaged couple as he gives an overview of the course then jumps into the lesson with a demonstration of how vital clothing choices are to the success of the shoot.
Make the Locations Interesting (11:36) Ybor City, Florida is the scene of the first location. David walks through his process for finding interesting locations that allow for the best lighting, backgrounds, and interaction between the couple.
Composition is Still Key (11:37) The couple is the main subject, but the background sets the scene. Pay attention to classic compositional elements--leading lines, repeating patterns, etc.--while adding variety to poses and locations.
A Walk in the Park (13:01) Not all locations will work. Learn how to evaluate the light, background, and compositional elements to find the angles that make your subjects look their best.
Tell the Couple's Story (08:52) Choose locations that are important to the couple and help tell the story of their relationship.
