7-Point System for Camera Raw

10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
The Photoshop 7-Point System book, by Scott Kelby revolutionized how people edit their images, and in this live session RC is going to teach you the latest update to the system, which focuses all seven points inside of Camera Raw itself. Once you learn these seven points, you’ll know exactly what to do, in what order, and why for every JPEG, Raw, and TIFF photo you edit. It will transform the way you edit your photos forever.

10 Portrait Retouching Techniques Every Photographer Needs to Know

11:15 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
In this class, you’ll learn the very same techniques today’s top pros use in their work to make their subjects look their very best. You’ll learn to keep realistic skin tone and texture, the latest techniques for retouching eyes (incredibly important), and a host of the latest techniques that look hard (but are easy once you know the secrets).

LUNCH BREAK 12:15 to 1:15 P.M.

Down & Dirty Tricks for Photographers

1:15 to 2:30 P.M.
This is where you learn those closely guarded “tricks of the trade” and the post-processing secrets that will give you a serious competitive advantage in the marketplace. Plus, you’ll learn everything from how to create dramatic portraits by re-lighting the scene after the fact to the easy way to shoot and create HDR images right in Photoshop (without the mistakes that make people cringe), the latest high-contrast moves, pro collaging techniques, how to shoot and stitch panos that work every single time, along with tons of very latest Photoshop effects and strategies that you’ll use every day in your work.

Photoshop Killer Tips

2:45 to 3:45 P.M.
This is where you learn the techniques to take your speed, productivity and fun to the next level with all those inside, little-known tips, workarounds and shortcuts that make all the difference in the world. Plus, you'll learn the fast and easy way to use Photoshop's new built-in DSLR Video editing features to go from just a bunch of clips on your computer to movies that mix still images with video to make you invaluable to your clients. You'll also learn some cool finishing moves, the latest sharpening techniques to make your images absolutely tack sharp, and how the pros get twice the work done in the half the time.

Photoshop Before & After: Step-By-Step from Start to Finish

4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
This is where it all comes together as RC combines the techniques you’ve learned earlier in the day, (with some new ones you’ll learn in this class), so you can learn his entire Photoshop Editing Workflow. He starts with the unedited images―straight out of the camera―and reveals his editing techniques step-by-step, from beginning to end, and how to take your images from flat to fabulous. You’ll learn exactly how it’s all done, why it works, and how to apply it to your workflow, whether your final output is to print or the Web―it’s all here in the only class of its kind.

Things To Know Before You Attend

We'll make sure that your training, the classroom, and seminar materials are the very best they can possibly be. This we can control, and we work hard to make sure we exceed your expectations. However, there are several things that are simply out of our control. A little preparation can really help ensure that your travel to and from the convention center and day with us is enjoyable.

Make sure you have directions and driving instructions in hand, and know our location within the convention center. Many centers are very large and difficult to navigate. Knowing exactly where you're going can save a large amount of time and frustration.

Q. Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

A. YES! We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. We’re so sure that our seminars offer the best live training anywhere, for any price that if you’re dissatisfied for any reason simply contact our customer service department within 10 days after the date of your event, and we’ll gladly provide you with a full refund.

Q. Where Do I Park?

A. Be aware that your convention center or nearby parking garages may charge for parking [prices will vary]. Unfortunately, parking fees are not included with your paid registration.

Q. Do You Provide Lunch?

A. No. You do have one (1) hour for lunch, and we give you this time on your own. Many convention centers do offer cafes and restaurants on the premises, and many do not. We suggest bringing a lunch and snacks for the day, or locating restaurants within walking distance to the convention center. Our staff will also make everyone attending aware of surrounding restaurants and places for snacks the day of the event.

Q. What Should I Wear?

A. Dress is casual; suits, jeans, shorts and sandals are all absolutely allowed. Please wear whatever you're most comfortable in. But, please keep in mind that many convention center rooms get very chilly, and we recommend bringing a sweater or sweatshirt in case it's needed.

Q. Will I Get A Good Seat?

A. Seating is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. Our doors open for registration at 9:00 AM. However, please don't feel rushed to get a "good seat". Our classrooms offer balanced sound throughout, and we present on large, bright video projection screens that are easily visible from any area of the classroom. Our event seating is arranged "classroom" style; meaning you'll be very comfortable with a chair and table-top workspace.

Q. Do I Need to Bring a Note Pad?

A. The Adobe Photoshop Seminar Tour provides a detailed workbook outlining each step-by-step technique and tutorial taught in the classroom. We want you to sit back and enjoy your day learning, not scrambling to take notes. However, there may be an occasional note to jot down. Your instructor may have a helpful URL for you, or an update to a technique in your workbook. For this we provide a "notes" section on each page of your workbook. Bring a pen the day of the event and you'll have everything you'll need.

Q. Should I Bring My Laptop?

A. Laptops are not required at our events. However, you're welcome to bring yours to follow along with in the classroom. We do not provide power for laptops or other electronic devices. So bring an extra battery or two.

Q. Can I Record the Seminar?

A. No. The Adobe Photoshop Seminar Tour strictly prohibits any video or voice recordings during our seminars. If you have any specific questions or special requests concerning this, please contact our office prior to attending.

Q. Will You Have Interpreting Services, for the hearing impaired?

A. We are very happy to provide interpreting services for our deaf attendees. Please contact our office no later than two weeks prior to your seminar date to allow appropriate arrangements to be made.

Q. What Kind of Access do I Have to the Instructors?

A. You've got great access! We know that one of the best things about our seminar tour is your opportunity to speak face-to-face with our instructors and ask your most pressing Photoshop questions, get your books autographed, or simply take a photo with them to commemorate your visit with us. And you'll have plenty of time for this. Our instructors are available during breaks, lunch, and after the event to answer any questions you may have, sign a book, or take a photo. By the way, this is one of the instructors' favorite things about their events as well. So be sure to stop by the stage and say, "Hi!"

Q. If I Cancel Will I Get My Money Back?

A. If you are unable to attend this event, you are welcome to send someone in your place, request a credit toward a future seminar or request a refund less a $15 enrollment charge. Credit requests must be received within 10 business days of the event. Refund requests must be received no later than 6 business days prior to the event.
